Check out my blog today on Bellini Buzz about a new creative idea for baby showers!
I LOVE this idea! I remember burp cloths always managing to disappear and were never handy when a real projectile emergency happened. Since they were normally all white, they would get wrapped up in the blankets, sheets etc. Attaching colorful fabrics to the burp cloths would keep them from hiding on you! Plus clean folded cloths will look so much better on a shelf in the nursery! You could even purchase fabrics that coordinate with the colors in the room. Who doesn’t love a DIY affordable functional accent!
I found this tutorial on a site called petitelemom.com. They seem easy enough to make and I so want to find the time to make them myself for my new grand daughter!
SWEET PINK AND YELLOW!
I am so excited to have a direction. I told my daughter no more changing her mind! We have run out of time. I love the warm sunny feeling this combination gives! Here are some decorating ideas we are working with……. All round personalized items can be found at www.candicenkatiesart.etsy.com
Just had to share my new Bianca design with you!! I have seen so many beautiful bedding styles that would coordinate perfectly with these.
I did not have bedding to design from. This customer had requested that I take one of my original designs which was actually in blues and browns and change to pink cream and tan. I love the way they came out and I hope you do too!
Here is a picture of a design from Pottery Barn Kids that these would coordinate with too!
Ahh Striped walls
Not the easiest thing to do with all the taping involved, but the
results are stunning candicenkatiesart.etsy.com
As you can see I am
a “paint in the round” artist but the crispness of stripes stand in a
league of their own.
I do include stripes in my art
because the combination of both is what makes a perfect design
Well my daughter is expecting my first grand daughter and we are knee deep in designing the perfect nursery for baby Keira. After all, in my business I have seen and designed to so many different amazing nurserys so this won’t be easy!!! The hardest part for us was narrowing down all our options . We have selected the wall color and the bedding(believe me that was not easy either!) and now all the fun begins!!!
I will be adding the before picture soon so you can see what we are working with. I also plan on providing tips on how- to’s etc….. We are all excited and can’t wait to share with everyone!!
Not sure if we are going to use these tissue flowers but I LOVE them! I feel like they are different from the normal flowers you see everywhere now. With the right color combinations, these can be absolutely STUNNING. The how-to came from a mom in Australia and you can find it on this blog greedyforcolour.
A great way to use paint chips!! http://www.bellini.com/blog/
