Designing An Eye Catching Product Presentation

I recently finished developing a new product that I have been working on for some time now. SO Excited… I launched them on ETSY yesterday!!

WELL….. once they posted, I looked at them among other products in the same category and mine just FAILED!!!! I knew they were adorable, but they just didn’t shine like they needed to in order to stand out.

I went back to the drawing board and worked on product presentation. I LOVE the COLORS and the way they work with one another. I have been studying this I think  my whole life. I always find myself stopping and staring at random things grouped together and really notice the way they complement one another.

SO…… this is how I changed the product and images…….I just love the different combinations of colors and textures!!

The hair clips now become something else too… adorable gift tags!!

BEFORE AFTER

This may not be perfect yet, but I feel I am on the right track

As you can see, taking the time to really evaluate your product and presenting it the very best  you can will be sure to give you better sales!!

Trendy Baby Burp Cloths Tutorial

I LOVE this idea! I remember burp cloths always managing to disappear and were never handy when a real projectile emergency happened. Since they were normally all white, they would get wrapped up in the blankets, sheets etc.  Attaching colorful fabrics to the burp cloths would keep them from hiding on you! Plus clean folded cloths will look so much better on a shelf in the nursery! You could even purchase fabrics that coordinate with the colors in the room.  Who doesn’t love a DIY affordable functional accent!

I found this tutorial  on a site called petitelemom.com. They seem easy enough to make and I so want to find the time to make them myself for my new grand daughter!

Beautiful Tissue Flowers Which Include Tulle

Well my daughter is expecting my first grand daughter and we are knee deep in designing the perfect nursery for baby Keira. After all, in my business I have seen and designed to so many different amazing nurserys so this won’t be easy!!!  The hardest part for us was narrowing down all our options . We have selected the wall color and the bedding(believe me that was not easy either!) and now all the fun begins!!!

I will be adding the before picture soon so you can see what we are working with. I also plan on providing tips on how- to’s etc…..  We are all excited and can’t wait to share with everyone!!

Not sure if we are going to use these tissue flowers but I LOVE them! I feel like they are different from the normal flowers you see everywhere now. With the right color combinations, these can be absolutely STUNNING. The how-to came from a mom in Australia and you can find it on this blog  greedyforcolour.

Great Idea for Baby Onesie Age Photos

I Love to come across new ideas to try on my own. This is a great way to add your babies age to a onesie without having to order stickers which is the only way I have seen this done. You can actually go on photoshop and create this and I have included the tutorial to show you how! Since my first grandchild is not due until November, I would love for anyone who tries this to let me know how well you made out.  I would love to see photos of what you come up with! A great way to be creative!!

How to coordinate nursery décor for boy and girl twins

The news of expecting twins can be overwhelming, but what about boy and girl twins? For most mothers the first thing they begin when pregnant is the nesting process. So how does the modern mom come up with a nursery design that allows the baby’s to have their own identity? Here’s what I suggest: find a fabric that consists of basic unisex components and then include coordinating patterns in both pink and blue. Like here, we have a brown and white polka dot and a brown and white damask, which leaves the stripes to bring in pink for a girl and blue for a boy. Once you put it all together, you have a wonderful blend which coordinates perfectly!!
